News That Doesn’t Suck.
Our method

Help first.
Understand deeply.
Explain clearly.

Reporting is the beginning. Our job is to connect the facts, explain the context and show the limits of what we know.

Four paths through every story.

What happened

A plain answer, with actors, scope and time.

How we know

Claim-level evidence, origin and transformations.

What’s unresolved

Missing evidence, competing explanations and limitations.

What you can do

Practical next steps and official resources.

Bias is examined, not scored away.

We inspect selection, framing, omitted context, institutional perspective and documented conflicts. An institutional source can be authoritative for a procedure and limited for other questions. Competing explanations receive scrutiny proportional to the evidence.

A financial or political interest can create an incentive. It does not establish motive or make every claim false. We distinguish documented facts from our interpretations.

Attention is a question with evidence.

We look for original publication records, syndication paths, independent audience observations, paid placements and documented coordination. Repetition and reach are signals to investigate. They do not prove artificial promotion. Organic interest and promotion can coexist.

Unknown stays unknown until the relevant evidence arrives.

Visuals carry part of the explanation.

A visual must show the relationship that matters: order, scale, cause, comparison, uncertainty or source dependence. Its text and marks use the same underlying model. Color is paired with labels; motion remains under the reader’s control.

Event photographs require verified identity, date, location, credit and permission. AI artwork is labeled illustration and never serves as evidence of an event.

The models in this edition.

Reporting order

Three invented batches: A 24 / B 16; A 14 / B 16; A 9 / B 21. The total is 100. Both reporting orders end at A 47 / B 53. Unreported ballots stay unknown in each partial tally. Completion does not imply certification.

Percentages and starting points

Relative change = (after − before) ÷ before × 100. Percentage point change = (after − before) ÷ denominator × 100. The denominator is 100. A zero starting value leaves relative change undefined.

Source dependence

The ten illustrated reports share one hypothetical origin identifier. The number of reports does not change the number of independent original records. This is not an observed news network.

Human accountability and corrections.

Editor: Daniel Crouse.

This first edition is a public beta of educational explainers. AI assisted source discovery, extraction, drafting, models and implementation. The process references were retrieved on October 9, 2026. A human editor has not yet reviewed these drafts for publication.

Reviewed news reporting requires a named editor, review time, tested evidence paths and a working correction contact. The beta presents educational drafts and does not report live races. Material changes must be recorded and applied to affected stories and graphics. Sponsors cannot choose findings or purchase favorable coverage. Essential election help and evidence remain accessible.

Privacy.

This application sets no cookies and contains no analytics, tracking scripts, account forms or third-party embeds. It serves its fonts and illustrations locally. The application does not log reader requests. The production reverse proxy does not keep reader access logs and limits its error log to critical server failures. Our hosting provider may maintain infrastructure-level records under its own policies.

The graph supports entities, events, claims, sources, topics, mechanisms, frames, distribution signals, transformations, reviews and revisions. Evidence-bearing relationships carry their basis and date. A possible explanation stays a hypothesis.
